CAN I CHARGE PEOPLE TO VIEW MY EVENT LIVE ? CAN I SELL TICKETS FOR MY EVENT ?
Yes, when you create your event, you have the option of charging credits to people viewing your event, you have the option of keeping your event private or making it public. You also have the option of selling tickets online for your event.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AVAILABLE CREDITS AND PENDING CREDITS ?
Available credits are the credits you have in your account that you can use to purchase items on Xumanii or to receive a check to cash out your revenues.
Pending credits are credits placed in temporary status and cannot be used to purchase items or to receive a cash out. For security reasons, we hold revenues from ticket sales & products for a short period to protect consumers. For example, if you sell tickets for an event, you will see your revenues in your pending credits. Those pending credits will be converted to available credits in your account 2 weeks after your event has ended. If for any reason your event does not take place and the ticket holders ask for a refund, we will refund their money with your pending credits.
For event ticket sales, credits are pending for 2 weeks after the event has ended.
For products sold in a Xumanii store, credits are pending for a period of 4 weeks.
Other revenue forms like live events and music will be converted to Available credits immediately
HOW CAN I RECEIVE A CHECK FOR MY REVENUES ?
If you sell tickets, products, broadcast a live event or music in your account, you will generate credits. You can keep these credits in your account for as long as you want and use them to purchase other items available on Xumanii. If you want to receive a check, you can go to MY XUMANII / SETTINGS (from the top menu) and click on Withdraw Information. There you will see how many credits you can currently cash out. You can also choose your desired payment currency. Either US dollars or CA dollars. You will be asked to provide your name and address and a shipping method. We send out checks on the 1st and the 16th of every month.
Note that for security reasons, you cannot cash out credits that you have purchased with a credit card within the last 3 months. You can only cash out revenues generated in your account.
HOW CAN I BUY CREDITS IN MY ACCOUNT ?
You can buy credits with a credit card. Simply go to MY XUMANII / SETTINGS and click on Purchase Credits.
HOW MUCH IS 1 XUMANII CREDIT WORTH ?
1 Xumanii credit is always worth 1 USD. However, the Xumanii website can show you the amounts converted in many currencies. When you visit a page that charges credits for an event or a product, you will see the price in Xumanii credits and the approximate conversion to your local currency. We convert to :
Canadian Dollars
Australian Dollars
British Pounds
Euros
Japanese Yen
You can also go to your settings, under MY SETTINGS / Account Settings, and change the currency you would like displayed.
WHAT CAN I GET WITH MY XUMANII POINTS ?
Xumanii points are used to get free items from the Xumanii shop. You can get Xumanii t-shirts, posters and your own personalized business cards, all free with your points. Visit the XUMANII SHOP to see the list of available products.
HOW CAN I GET XUMANII POINTS ?
You get points for using your profile. For each photo or video you upload to your profile, you will receive 1 point. You will receive 10 points for each unique contact you share your profile with. To do so, go to your own profile page and click on Share With Contacts (to the left)
HOW DO I SHARE MY PROFILE WITH FRIENDS ?
To import your contacts/friends to your Xumanii account and share your profile, go to MY XUMANII / FRIENDS (from the top menu) then click on the tab (IMPORT). From there, you can import all your friends from a facebook account, manually or from a mailing list text file.
Once your contacts have been imported, you can then go to your own profile page and click on Share With Contacts (to the left)
